Pictured is an early grey graniteware tall teapot decorated with pewter trim offered for sale. The teapot has a scalloped rim, tapered body, & a copper metal band at the base for convection. The cover is domed & has a spire finial grip, great proportions. The pewter metal has a great patina finish with no wear as well. The enameling has a great mottled overall color contrast. It measures 10 3/4" in overall height & dates from 1890 - 1905. It's in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs whatsoever. Both the interior & the underside are free of any stains or discoloration. Just a clean example, ready for daily use.....
